Place Name Time 1 Anna Sutton 1:23.07 2 Daniel Alban @ 3.17 3 Vincent Glynn @10.05 4 Mergim Ibrahimi @12.53 This week members ventured out to Maude to tackle the hilly circuit for one last time this year. Conditions turned out perfect with the sun shining and no wind to speak of.In A Grade the racing was closely contested with a majority of the group staying together over the challenging 60km circuit. On the last lap 4 riders tried their luck at various stages to get away only to be brought back to the bunch quickly. In the end was 17 year old Ollie Kent-Spark winning in a sprint finish by a tyre from Mark Bellew. This is Ollie’s first A grade win for the club and a sign of big things to come.
B grade was also closely contested with the race also finishing in a bunch sprint after the 60km circuit. A bunch consisting of 10 riders crossed the line together with Steve Del Gallo taking victory over this years Mr consistent Daryl Suter.
C Grade winner Anna Sutton riding in her first road race in three years soled her way to victory after breaking away after the first lap. A good indication that the rest has done her no harm at all.
