Geelong Cycling Club's Leigh Howard continues to prove just how much talent he has by taking out this year's Bendigo International Madison, he and partner Glenn O'Shea become the first riders to successfully defend their title since the 2000 Olympic Madison Gold Medalists Scott McGory and Brett Aitken did so in 2000 and 2001.

Howard who has been competing abroad on the European 6 day circuit as well as representing Australia at the Beijing World Cup event partnered with Glenn O'Shea to beat home the talented Meyer brothers and international and former world Madison Champions Marvulli and Lampater.
