Victorian Bushfire Fundraiser Event

I just thought I would post a quick note and let you all know that as a result of the horrific bush fires we have seen all over the news in the last few days, the club has decided to donate all proceeds of the race on Saturday the 14th to the Victorian bushfire victims. 

Thanks to James Fitzgerald for suggesting the idea. 

I think you will all agree, that whilst it is not a lot, we can do our little bit to help out. 

I would personally like to be able to raise close to $1000 dollars, so I encourage everyone to get down and support/race on Saturday.

People wanting to help victims have been asked to give money rather than goods. Donations can be made by calling 13 72 58 or via the Salvation Army website www.salvos.org.au
