On-Line Race Registrations and User Names
The GeelongCycling.com website is now allowing registered users, whether they are Geelong Cycling Club members or not, to enter races that are included in the on-line club calendar.
To assist the club in being able to process your race entries correctly GeelongCycling.com would like to request that all registered users update their "Your Name"setting to something that allows the club to readily identify you.
If the "Your Name" setting is set to a first name or nickname only this is the only name that the club will be aware of when you enter a race online, now as this setting down not need to be unique any number of people could have the same name as you and we wont know who you are.
So then, how do you update the "Your Name" Setting?
1.Navigate to the Community Page.
2. If you are not already logged in, log in using your unique user name and password that you set up when you first registered.
3. Once you are logged in, navigate to Edit Details via the Profile menu tab.
4. The Your Details page will now load, in the "Your Name" field please change it to something that will identify who you are. A First and Last name would be ideal.
5. Don't forget to press "save".
6. That's it, simple really.
What if I don't want my name displayed and I want to register for a race?
If you don't want to have your name displayed for whatever reason that is ok, simply This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it us your race entry instead.
