Geelong Cycling Club looks to it's members to assist with running of races. All members will be expected to participate in marshalling duties through the year.
Members will be asked to nominate preferred days for marshaling duties at the start of each season. This may include;
- Flag marshals
- Timing marshals
- Lead car marshals
- Other duties
Once the marshaling roster has been posted it is up to the respective member to arrange any change to the roster, to provide a replacement and to notify the race co-ordinator of the change.
This needs to be done at least a week prior to the event. The non-attendance of marshals will result in the cancellation of the event as the requirements for race permits can not be met.
