The Club

The Geelong Cycling Club AGM is on this Sunday (Dec 13) - 10am.

To break the mould and do something a little different - a bunch ride is leaving the Club rooms at 8am for a short ride before returning for a BBQ breakfast and a bacon and egg roll at 9am before the 10am AGM start. Make sure you get down there to join in! The committee will briefly report on the year that's passed and take nomination for committee positions as follows:

Road Coordinator – Filled
Track Coordinator – Filled
Handicapper – Vacant!
Social Coordinator – Vacant!
Junior Coordinator – Vacant!

The club is also is seeking nominations for a new "Teams Racing" committee. With the introduction of teams racing in Victoria we are looking for three members to form a sub-committee that will be responsible for all things team racing. A brief discussion paper has been established but we need this sub committee to establish to rules and regulations of how we as a club approach the teams racing.

We will also be looking for nominations to help out with the Road, Track and Social committees.

As detailed above, the current incumbents of the positions have elected their interest in continuing in their roles for a further year, but any members wishing to nominate are more than welcome. And as always - no one will be "roped" into helping if they do not wish to.
