Anyone one who has recently been over or for that matter under the James Harrison Bridge of late will have noticed that a significant amount of work has been undertaken on the Geelong Criterium Circuit at Belmont Island. Land that has been used for visiting circus tents in the past is currently in the process of being transformed into a world class criterium facility for cycling events in Geelong.
General Information
So long as the weather holds out the track surface should be completed in the coming days with the site's landscaping due to be completed prior to the UCI World Road Championships.
