Women's Training
Women often tell us they want to get stronger, fitter and more skilled on the bike. The Geelong Cycling Club has plenty on offer for our female members.
The club holds weekly training sessions with a focus on refining your racing skills and lifting your fitness. Sessions are conducted under the guidance of the club's coach. The Club also runs "Come n Try" or "First Timers" circuits at the same location as our races and on race days. These are mentored sessions with instructors to assist you with bunching, sitting a wheel, cornering, tips on tactics and when to sprint. There are also Recreational Training Rides on weekends that go for longer distances and sometimes into hilly territory to build your strength and fitness.
